we have problems logging on to Socialcast from our blackberry mobiles. No matter what I tried, I cannot login - I do see "loading messages" for a second, after that the process quits with an error message,

Is there a way that my web server can authenticate on behalf of "the company" or the community account and not an individual? We'd like to reuse the directory data stored in Socialcast for another HR app we're developing internally. This means that we only need to read the /api/users endpoint.
Since it's server to server communication, and no action is being taken for a specific user, we'd like to be able to use credentials that aren't tied to someone who could leave the company or be moved to a different project. Is there a way to accomplish this? I've read the docs about HTTP Basic Auth and OAuth, both seem to rely on authorizing an individual.

I can't find particular endpoint for challenges.
Can we get challenges information as messages? I can see following details in message api endpoint.
"extensions associated with this message, which can include group, thanks, challenges, project or town_hall data"

I've recently rolled out SocialCast as an ESN for my IT department. Since I have a limited number of licenses with only a few more seats than we have staff, I need to limit who can send invitations to others within our domain. The Administrator Documentations has a note about an "Invite Only" option. I can't find where to set that.
Can anyone point me to where that is or some documentation that shows where it is?

I see that is possible to manage all my tasks as a list or grouping by projects, but I am leading a team and I need to see the tasks from my workers. Can I see tasks by user? If not, can you give me a suggestion to see/manage others tasks?
Is it possible to invite members to a group restricting the permission to see projects? I want to only see the projects that I am invited? Not the others.

I am trying to use the SocialCast REST API to post a private message with an attached image.
I manage to send a text-only message on api/conversations and /api/conversations/:conversation_id/remarks which is supposed to accept also attachment but I don't see how to do.
I can create before an attachment with api/attachments but how can I join it to a private message in a second time ?

I use api/conversations to send a private message with a new hashtag (say #myNewTag) in it.
But I can not manage to find this message afterwards using the following method : api/messages/search with q=#myNewTag,
I can neither find the new topic itself with api/topics/search or api/topics...
This new topic is not visible in the explore view of the web app.
How to create a private message with a new tag in it ? (is it sufficient to insert #... in its body ?)

Hello,
I want to be able to retreive only the unread visible messages for the connected user via the REST API.
If I use api/streams I can determinate which streams contains new updates, be it the Home stream or a particular group stream.
Then I attempt to get these new messages with api/streams/{stream_id}/messages but in its response I cannot identify the unread messages. Furthermore after this request, no new_upadtes is returned any more in api/streams.
How can I get a list of new messages posted in a stream ?

For some reason this is not working for me and it does work for others. I have the Community URL correct and I am an admin for our Socialcast instance.
Any ideas on how to remed this?
I have a small business with 15 - 20 users. I would be willing to pay for Socialcast for additional support and features - to be come a full fledged customer. You all should consider supporting my type of business. There are a lot of us out here.
