I am new to this technology (actually, I have not any VM experience to date), as well as to this forum. I am planning to transfer my XP to Windows 7 host, mainly due to security issues after April 8, 2014.
I would appreciate very much any thoughts regarding the security status of the XP guest, since it would be only a process within the secured Windows 7 host. Will the network access of the XP be secured by Windows 7 capabilities (e.g. Windows 7 security patches and antivirus and anti-malware programs)?
