The (network) printer is a Samsung colour laser printer.
It prints well under both the Linux host and the XP client ...... except!
Except that whenever I power up the client it defaults to the inherited printer driver.
Unfortunately, this causes it to miss the bottom 12-13 cm of the foot of every page.
The Windows specific driver doesn't do this. To use it I have fix it as the default
every time that I power up.
Using the host's driver, in the 'Advanced' printer tab I have tried scaling the page to
as little as 80% but I can see no discernible difference in the result sheet whatsoever.
Is it an incurable problem?
