I'm using a Toshiba M300 Notebook running Windows 7 Pro 32bit and recently installed VMPlayer 6.0.2.
I have installed Windows XP Pro as a guest without any problem, but when trying to create another virtual machine for Windows 8, VMPlayer reports that my processor needs to be 64bit.
I run the Processor Check for 64bit Compatibility app and it reports that my processor is not 64bit. When I checked with Intel, it said that my Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T6400 indeed has a 64bit instruction set. VMware Document #1003945 also confirmed that my Core 2 Duo Processor is a 64bit processor.
How can I proceed to install Windows 8 as guest? Thank you.
