centos 7 install does not see disk

I'm running windows 7 Ultimate 64bit with VMware Player 6.0.1, I've installed loads of centos machines in this player but with centos 7 the installer doesn't see any disk to install onto. I've allocated 20Gb to the disk (SCSI 0:0 Hard disk) size in vmware player In the cnetos 7 installer The Local Standards Disk section is empty and if I click 'Add a disk' it sees nothing.
