Only the First guest OS I boot up can see the network

Hello everyone,

At work we currently work exclusively out of VMs. Usually we have more than one VM open at a time, but we always boot up and shut down multiple VMs everyone day. We are using VmWare player 4.0.4 and I know that is old but we cannot use anything newer. All of the VMs are set up to connect to the network with NAT. Now, the problem I am having is that only the first VM I boot up everyday can see the network. After that I have to reboot my computer in order to get a different VM to see the network. The weird thing is that they can all get to the internet through the network, but cannot access any of the network drives. None of my co-workers seem to be having the problem so I must have changed a setting on my computer or something. Has anyone run into this problem before or have any solutions? Here are some specifics on my setup.

Host: Windows 7 64-bit

Guests: Either Windows XP SP3 or Windows 7 32-bit

Network: Set to NAT, cannot get any more specific information from VmWare player.

I have tried disabling the VmNet adapter on both the guests and the hosts.

I have reinstalled VmWare player multiple times and removed all the config files between installs.

I have tried using ipconfig on guest OS.

I looked in the knowledge base on VmWare and tried everything they recommended but nothing seems to be working.
