Dear VMWare Fans,
we are using VMWare products with big satisfaction, e.g. to host our virtual SAP systems on a Dell server ... all licensed of course. 
Now I'm planning to install VMWare Player on my company laptop for some tests etc. I only need the regular Player.
I did search the internet including this forum and all I found is the following topic, which addresses my question most completely:

This thread is some time ago (2011) and ends with a non-commented assumption of a community member that the installation of VMWare Player on a company laptop would be ok to play a virtual system unless one does not forward the player itself ?
Is this correct ?
If not, which license would I need ?
