vmware Player not installing in Vista OS

Hi,

I don't know if it has already been answered (since I didn't find it), I want help in installing the player.

While installing I'm getting the error "The MSI 'C:\Users\MyC\AppData\Local\Temp\vmware_1395998488\vmwareplayer_x86.msi' failed"

I have tried multiple times by clearing the temp folder, installing the latest windows installer, repairing the registry but the same error keeps recurring.

Please help me with this installation.
